A war veteran works to rescue women from sex traffickers.
It’s been five years since Lynne Ramsay premiered "We
Need To Talk About Kevin" and now she is back to direct "You Were Never
Really Here" with Joaquin Phoenix to star.
The film is described as a character-driven thriller that focuses on a war veteran who now works to rescue women from sex traffickers. When he tries to rescue a girl from a brothel in New York, things go horribly wrong, setting off a storm of violence and vengeance.
