Fbi Busts Sex Trafficking Ring Selling 3-Month-Old, 5-Year-Old Sister For $600

he FBI announced 84 underage victims and 120 traffickers were arrested from Oct. 12-15 as part of the annual human trafficking sting Operation Cross County XI.

The average age of the victims was 15 years old and the youngest was a three-month-old infant. 

“Unfortunately, the number of traffickers arrested—and the number of children recovered—reinforces why we need to continue to do this important work,” FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement.

One of the most egregious cases involved a three-month-old girl and her 5-year-old sister. A friend who was staying with the family offered to sell them both for sex to an undercover agent from FBI’s Denver office for $600.

MnDOT to Post Human Trafficking Messages at Rest Areas

Minnesota has the third highest number of human trafficking cases in the nation, according to the FBI

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced it will be installing posters at 41 rest areas across the state to educate the public about human trafficking.

The posters include guidelines on how to recognize signs of human trafficking and potential victims, and a toll-free hotline to report any suspicious activity.

FBI Says Two Men Indicted For Sex Trafficking Could Be In Seattle Area

SEATTLE – The FBI is asking for help tracking down two men charged with sex trafficking who might be in the Seattle area.

Aaron M. Barnes, 33, and Kamau Curnal, 28, are both charged with one count of sex trafficking of a child and one count of transportation of a minor for the purpose of prostitution following an investigation in Oregon.

9 Busted For Human Trafficking, 26 For Prostitution During 4/20 Week 2016

DENVER (CBS4) – The FBI-led Innocence Lost Task Force has revealed the recovery of five children and the arrest of nine adults for trafficking, and 26 adults for prostitution during operations during a week of pot smoking events in Denver.

That date 4/20 is known in Colorado as a day to celebrate marijuana. It brings in people from far and away. Like at other big events, some of the people are in search of sex with minors. That’s what James Brent Anderson, 60, is accused of seeking.
