Amber Speed, 40, was found guilty by a jury
of one felony count of conducting a criminal enterprise for running a
sex-trafficking ring composed of minors.

A man convicted of running a
child prostitution ring was sentenced to 472 years in prison — the
longest sentence for a human trafficking case in U.S. history, according
to news reports.
Brock Franklin of Colorado was found guilty at a sentencing hearing Tuesday in Arapahoe County. He was sentenced to almost five centuries behind bars— four times the minimum required sentence, reported KUSA. Four others have already been sentenced for their involvement in the crimes.

Jury Convicts Pair For Sex Trafficking Of Children In Ohio
CLEVELAND — A man in prison for child rape and an Ohio woman were convicted Friday in Cleveland of dozens of counts related to the sex trafficking of children as young as 9 years old.
The jury convicted Andre Boynton, 42, and Anika George, 39, of North Royalton, on charges that include human trafficking, conspiracy and multiple counts of child rape and child pornography, a news release said. They are scheduled to be sentenced Aug. 25. George’s attorney declined to comment Saturday. Boynton’s attorney did return telephone messages seeking comment.

ICE: Illinois Man Convicted In North Dakota For Sex Trafficking, Conspiracy
FARGO, N.D. — An Illinois man was convicted in federal court Thursday
on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking five victims, one of which
was a juvenile.
This conviction resulted from an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), the Fargo (North Dakota) Police Department, the Cass County (North Dakota) Sheriff’s Office, and the Moorhead (Minnesota) Police Department.
Anthony Donte Collier, aka Koleone the Great, 29, was found guilty following an 11 ½-day jury trial of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking, sex trafficking a child, and four counts of sex trafficking.

A Gastonia, N.C., man was convicted in federal court in Columbia Friday on eight counts including sex trafficking, child pornography and illegal firearms.
Samuel Pratt, 34, who was arrested in Columbia, ran a sex trafficking business that operated in South Carolina, North Carolina and New York, prosecutors said.
His mother, Daphne Pratt, earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sex traffic children in the case, said U.S. Attorney Beth Drake in a news release.
During the four-day trial, witnesses testified about the manipulation and abuse involved in sex trafficking operations at work in the Carolinas that included children as young as 14 years old, Drake said.
